Clark Energy Cooperative, Inc. ("Clark") intends to file a revision to its Envirowatts-Green Energy tariff with the Kentucky Public Service Commission ("KPSC") on November 2, 2021. Clark will request that the proposed rates become effective December 2, 2021. The Envirowatts tariff is strictly a volunteer tariff and any revisions to it will not affect the amount that a customer pays for service or the quality, delivery, or rendering of a customer's service. In substance, the proposed revisions will create a mechanism for large commercial and industrial customers to purchase renewable energy credits as a means to offset emissions.

A person may examine the tariff filing and any related documents Clark files with the KPSC:  (i) at the utility's principal office address of 2640 Ironworks Road, Winchester, Kentucky 40391, during normal business hours; (ii) at the KPSC's offices located at 211 Sower Boulevard, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; (iii) through the Public Service Commission's website at; or (iv) via Clark's website at

A person may submit a timely written request for intervention to the Public Service Commission, Post Office Box 615, Frankfort, Kentucky 40602, establishing the grounds for the request including the status and interest of the party. The Commission is required to take action on Clark's proposed tariff within 30 days of its filing. Comments regarding the proposed tariff may be submitted to the Public Service Commission through its website or by mail to Public Service Commission, Post Office Box 615, Frankfort, Kentucky 40602. The rates contained in this notice are the rates proposed by Clark but the Public Service Commission may order rates to be charged that differ from the proposed rates contained in this notice.
